1) It is our great honor to announce that drum and percussion duties for our upcoming album on Hydra Head Records will be handled by Charlie Zeleny (Behold... the Arctopus)! Recording will take place at Menegroth in NYC with Colin Marston and at Aleph in Seattle with Randall Dunn. For all of you wondering about new Kayo Dot lineup details - there are none! We haven't tried looking for new members yet and are just focusing on getting the album finished before we figure out exactly what kind of instrumentation we need for our live ensemble. When the time comes though, we're pretty sure that we're going to try to keep the group at five members max, and that everyone (excepting the drummer) should be able to double on a wind instrument as well as their primary rock instrument (guitar, bass, keyboard). 2) The artwork for the Tartar Lamb CD, 60 Metonymies, has been finished and the album is now in manufacturing. This will be available for purchase before the end of the month!
