cheap guitar strings

Yeah, I did. 20 packs!!!

They are good strings, pehaps a blind bluesman from Mississipi could notice some difference with another expensive ones, but for the rest of mortals I think that it is the same as any other brand.
It's said that the manufacturers are the same than anothr well-known brand.
Sound is good and since I got these strings I broke very few and after months they don't get rusty!!!

Get a pair of packs ant check them yourself.

yea i was just curious cause I'm gonna put in a big order for me and my guitarist so we always have new strings on hand for recording and shows! Great deal though and was just wanting a little reinsurance from some other guitarist.

Wish they had bass strings in 6 string packs for our bassist but no dice.

You could also look into the 10 packs that D'addario have going. Theyr'e pretty awsomely priced, since (where I live) 10 packs bought seperately would be $150, but the 10 pack is only $80 or $90.

You could do that, or you could go to juststrings.com and wind up with 12 packs of D-Addarios (bulk string section, they're not marketed as such but they're made in the same factory, I've heard) for under $40 after shipping. I just eyeballed the prices and I can put together my D standard set (12-15-20-30-44-60) for that much.

Also, Guitar Center sells 10-packs of GHS Rock-It strings (9-42 or 10-46) for $20 bucks, if I'm not mistaken.

I wish i could enjoy playing with anything other than Power Slinkys but I can't...
it's like a disease :hypno:

My only problem with JustStrings is when I have to buy 7-string sets - the price jumps up for the 68s and 70s, and even at that I'd prefer to play an 80 or so on the low B but for that I'd be paying $20 more because I'd have to buy two sets of bass bulk strings (because bass bulk is 6-packs) - I'm still under $5 a pack, but three bucks for a single string because it says 'bass' and not 'guitar' on the package? Annoying as fuck.

That aside, for 6 string sets (and 7 string sets for the less insane) JustStrings.com kicks ass all over.

If you want cheap strings of known brands, I would recommend http://www.stringsandbeyond.com.

Great service and great prices, especially for Europeans like myself. EVEN when you take the shipping costs into account. My yearly string costs have been reduced by 60% since I started ordering from Stringsandbeyond.com.

A few examples:

Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky 9-46
Price @ Musikbörsen, Sweden: $13.50
Price @ Stringsandbeyond.com: $4.45

D'Addario EXL170-5 Strings .045-.130
Price @ Musikbörsen, Sweden: $56.00
Price @ Stringsandbeyond.com: $19.99

I bought a couple of sets a couple of weeks ago and they were €8 each I think. I usually get 'em online off ebay but that site you suggested is much cheaper over the course of 20+ sets of strings. The problem is usually whether someone will ship to Ireland, and if they do, it's normally not cheap.
