Cheap Pedal Noisegate?

Title.. I'm looking for a decently cheap pedal noisegate I could use for the time being for band practice with my XXX. Anybody have any recommendations?

I like the MXR Smartgate better than the NS-2. Seems to clamp down a little harder on the stops while still giving you enough sustain in held notes.

Haha i've got this diagram somewhere that calls it that. Surprisingly a lot of owners dont' realize you can run it in front and in the loop at the same time.

I hate how it gets bashed for 'sucking tone', when all the blues and guys who play with clean set it up wrong and it chops off their notes.
