The band has just completed the recording of their new promo Birthmachine and the songs you find here is a taste of what to be found on this!

Archon was the solo project of Lars Archon until he met up with Ole thru Enslavement of Beauty in 2002.They found out they had the same taste and interest in music and that they wanted to do this full time. Then they got Per Valla on guitar and after a while Are Sorknes and Andreas Paulsen joined the band. Are and Andreas is known from bands like Dead Trooper and Left among the living.
Lars Archon helped out Dimmu borgir for a short while on the making of the Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia album and has played session in bands like Enslavement of Beauty, Tsjuder and Nocturnal Breed thru the years. Now his only focus is on Archon and he has got a recording project going with Ray the keyboard player from Lunaris.

Wow, pretty good stuff. Though I really don't hear much (if any) death.

Reminds me of Fireign, well the I Smoulder Inside song anyway, which is a good thing.

Anyway, best luck to the band and hope we'll be hearing more from Archon in the future. ^_^
