Crikey ! This is sounding ominous ! Not even the Tour promoters and fellow bands were told; Saxon just didn't turn up ? And Saxon have already been paid their Fee for the tour? Nobody can get in touch with Thomas or any of the Band ?

as much as i love the band and music. they appear to be real shady when it comes to this sort of thing. hope the promoters get their $ back.

All sounds very dodgy indeed!! I'm definitely not booking any more flights/hotels/gig tickets till we find out what the hell is going on!
Quite pathetic how slow the info was released officialy.
Ive already booked flights/hotel etc for Amsterdam next year. Hope theres no last minute BS with that or other Euro stuff.

When I read the entries in the Read Book section.. It makes me sad and I feel ashamed that a good metal band, with good musicians, is supported by such a management. Bad feeling! I , as a big fan of Saxon,say to all the people that are disapointed or/ and lost money by this stupid overhead-management-thing; my heart is with you! I understand the anger and unbelieve..It must be a fucking shit feeling!

For Gods sake, what recording commitments can excuse this kind of gig cancellations?!?!?!?
(If it really is that Channel Four thing then it's classic Tap. Maybe next time Saxon will have to settle for playing some South American air-force base).
Anyway, I don't know the real reason for the cancellation but I can tell that this is doing the band no good. It's not the first tour that gets cancelled at an ultra-short notice. And to put up the "news" that late.... it simply sucks.
I've got an advice or two for band & mangement: Start taking this thing called Internet seriously and get yourselves an official homepage worth its name....
If I we're a teenager who just had gotten into Saxon or would like to check them out I would consider this site to be a real downer...to say the least. Nothing ever happens! How hard can it be to record one minute of tour or recording shit-chat and put it on the page every once in a while?!? (If writing an update is to hard...)
This is not aimed at whoever runs the site. If there's no nothing to put on the site then there will be no updates.
There are probably demo bands from Uganda with hotter homepages than this.
I feel sorry for the South Americans who have been looking forward to this and the explanation from the management would piss me off even more if I were them. It actually pisses me off quite a lot I'm afraid...
