Chester Bennington's widow has asked LINKIN PARK fans to refrain from leaving flowers, letters and other tributes to her husband at the house where he took his life. Ever since Chester was found dead in his Palos Verdes Estates home last summer, fans have been flocking to the residence to pay their respects. Devasted fans have been pictured leaving flowers and notes close to the driveway at the home, which is located in a suburb south of Los Angeles. Earlier today (Monday, January 8), Talinda Bennington retweeted a message from an employee at LINKIN PARK's record company, Warner Brothers, reminding fans to leave their items at the record company's Los Angeles offices and assuring them that their tributes would still be received. She wrote: "Please go to Warner Bros Records as a place for memorial for @ChesterBe. We will have a special memorial for his birthday but we are still trying to figure out the details. Thank you for all of your love & support." She continued: "Our family will receive all of your cards and gifts still. And we deeply appreciate them." She added in a separate tweet: "We have moved into a new home…and the well meaning fans that still come to the house, are disturbing our tenants. We (our family & the band) are deciding on the best place for a permanent memorial. It's a big decision and your respect & patience is appreciated. We love you all." Chester committed suicide on July 20 at the age of 41. His private funeral service took place nine days later near his home in Palos Verdes. It was attended by five hundred guests, including members of all three bands Bennington sang in: LINKIN PARK, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and DEAD BY SUNRISE. LINKIN PARK paid tribute to Bennington on October 27 with an emotional three-hour show that featured numerous guests joining the band onstage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Among the artists who performed with the band were BUSH's Gavin Rossdale, Jonathan Davis of KORN, Alanis Morissette, the instrumental members of NO DOUBT, Oli Sykes of BRING ME THE HORIZON, BLINK-182, M. Shadows and Synyster Gates of AVENGED SEVENFOLD and many more. LINKIN PARK has yet to announce whether the band intends to continue without Bennington.

Please go to Warner Bros Records as a place for memorial for @ChesterBe. We will have a special memorial for his birthday but we are still trying to figure out the details. Thank you for all of your love & support. https://t.co/khEnOJ68w9
