This is my first mix keeping the drums all natural. After some guidance the drummer ended up being a really solid hitter. I also definatly abused VCC some instruments end up getting hit about 5 or 6 times. Only think I really don't like is the esses on the vocals

Guitar > ts808>5150> Marshall 1960a (75's) > friedman (57,58)
Bass> 5150> swr 4x10> 57
Vox> Shure 7b

Bring up the kick in the mix. Maybe try some parallel compression. and bring the 808 hits up and make em longer. guitars are balanced well. the snare in the end sound like it has no body. Maybe add some 100-200hz?
sonds good. keep on truckin man!

I have the snare and toms being sent to a parallel compression bus (first time I really tried it) being hit with vcc>waves ssl bus> vcc> devil-loc The bleed on the snare was kind of bad so with all the compression it brought up the cymbal wash more so i kept it down in the mix. I totally agree about the snare now that I listen back, I probably could have placed the mic closer. But a boost around 200 wouldnt hurt
