This is embarrassing, but is there ANYWHERE in the area to get some work going? Or better yet, any studios looking for another set of hands/ears? I got plenty of experience for a 25yr old, but there is no scene in Aurora besides the hip-hop scene... been there, done that.

I'm not even looking to make bank here, just looking for a GOOD project

Its like this all over Chicagoland right now bro, Jordon and I talk about this from time to time. The scene is dead, like it is in a lot of other cities. The best you can do is to go to local gigs and meet new bands and pass out business cards. Face to face connection is always a good way to start a good working relationship that can hopefully lead to some work.

That's how I got a good amount of gigs until the bar everyone played at closed down Might have to scour IE magazine for some shows this weekend.
