Yeah the Cardboard Vampyres play 80's metal cover tunes, they've played a bunch of shows around LA I guess. Haven't seen them.

Saw an all girl AC/DC cover band once, they were called Whole Lotta Rosies. This tiny little Asian guitarist fuckin' rocked and was HAAAAAAWWWWWWT.

Looks like more than that, but they are a cover band. I just read the bio on their website, pretty cool. I didn't realize the drummer was from Comes With the Fall, man those dudes fuckin' rocked. They opened for Cantrell when I saw him a few years ago, and also were his backup band for his set. Damn, I never picked their CD up either.

The funniest thing about this, besides the name Lez Zeppelin, are the info sheets on the AC/DShe page...turn ons: rockers with big balls doing dirty deeds. (real clever. I mean it sincerely.) turn offs: empty kegs and broken amps.
