According to Reuters/Billboard, CHICKENFOOT the supergroup featuring Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS), Michael Anthony (ex-VAN HALEN), Joe Satriani and Sammy Hagar (ex-VAN HALEN) will spend most of September working on its sophomore album, then reconvene in late January and early February for "wrap-up sessions," with a spring 2011 release planned, again via Best Buy.
