Blackened death metal band, Fallen Fortress, have released their new music video, “Dehumanized”. The video uses alternating shades of red and monochrome tones to convey the harrowing nature of the song’s subject matter. The deadly guitar tone, vile vocals, and malicious drumming are a reflection of the evil that lurks within the human race.

Fallen Fortress traces its origins back to 2004, when Daniel Delgado (drums) joined with Tomas Guerrero (guitarist) and Diego Quiroz (guitarist/vocalist) to record what would become their debut EP, 2006’s Earthly Purgatory. After shifting their focus to add death metal to their already potent mix of blackened art, the band focused on their debut full-length, Dehumanized. After a six year hiatus, the band used the down time of the pandemic to compose what would become their latest opus, At The Heart of Emptiness.

“Dehumanized” is taken from the band’s latest full-length album, At The Heart of Emptiness. The album twists and churns through bleak corridors of black metal and a gauntlet of death metal. The depraved vocals sit at the helm of this caustic beast, rampaging with moments of blinding speed settled between riff-based song structures, all wrapped up within a blackened death frenzy.
