I realize Chity isn't exactly oldschool, but I wish someone would make a comment for one particular reason...... Of all the musicians I have ever met in my life, Chity is the nicest, most fun one person of ALL of them. I am serious. I am jealous of his personality.

That was awesome.. I have several cd's he sings on, Killer voice.
I remember when Jorn quit Masterplan I sent him an e-mail & said "Dude" Just kidding I said "Mr. Dude" No really I said Chity you need to be in this band! I think he would have been a perfect fit..

I think Chity is on a very short list of the absolute best singers in metal. He would sound great in Masterplan or lots of other bends.

Masterplan was very successful in Germany & I think Chity was living there at that time? It made sense to me anyway..
The problem with Masterplan after the 1st 2 cd's was that the vocals were to low in the mix.. Dimeo & when Jorn came back, Never understood that.. I think they killed a great band because of that..

Chity was born in Sri Lanka, but as long as I have known him (which has been since 2001) he has been in Germany (and he was there before that given his discography with Avalon.) In fact, he and his band and Vanden Plas are friends. Vanden Plas records in Red Circuit's keyboardist's studio. Chity sings for Red Circuit.
Before I get too far off track, I do think Chity would have been a great fit for Masterplan. He is one of the most effortless singers out there. While he has a great stage persona, you never see him actually having to work hard on his vocal technique. It just flows out of him. ANYTHING he can do in the studio with one track, he can pretty much duplicate live.
