Even though Chris didn't fit the theme of the bill, he was an excellent addition to the show and really played his heart out. It was obvious that the crowd was very receptive to him joining the line-up, as everyone who watched him that night got into his performance and had a great time. How could you not have a great time, when he pulled out Savatage classics like "Edge of Thorns" and tore up the room with his solo material? It was also great to speak with him and work with him that evening at the show.
As avid supporters of this festival, my boyfriend and I received a special bonus and were lucky enough to catch dinner with him and some of the band and crew that night. Many thanks to Doro, Chris and to all the performers, sponsors and staff who made this festival so enjoyable and memorable. I can't wait 'till next year's festival!
