With the whole stuff on Glenn losing a band and stuff - maybe this means something, most likely not.

Here's what Chris Caffery said on a latest diary entry posted 2/24

"Spoke to my agent today...2 more shows are confirmed, I will announce them when I get the green light from the venues. One is an IAG show and the other another US festival headline show!"

Hmm...I don't think its ProgPower, but what fun it is speculating

I know that. But if you read his thing - he has not announced this headlining show yet. The Bloody Knuckles festival in Ohio was his first announced date, so he's now referring to another festival. Cause he says "I will announce them when I get the green light from the venues." BK has already been announced long ago - this just developed yesterday.

I have much love for Chris and all, but it would be a major disappointment for him to be one of the headliners for this festival! There's a long, long list of bands that I'd rather see over his solo tour. If you're talkin' a full Savatage show, that's a different story!

I do understand that as of a few days ago the Headline slot on Friday was not 100 % filled. So I supposed there is some room to question this.

However, Glen said that the last 4 would be "traditional" prog/power bands. I do not put chis in this category. Although I do not look at Symphore in that category either. No offence to Chris or anyone, I don't think he alone (solo) is worthy of this slot.

If it turns out to be him..........well, I guess it is what it is.

A solo project over Stratovarius......0_o

I guess it's not a good sign that Glenn hasn't squashed this yet.......>_>

All you have to do is go back through the clues I have posted and you will see this isn't going to happen. Consider it squashed.

Thank You!

*smacks head*

I didn't even think about the fact that it would hardly be a US debut. Trans-Siberian orchestra tours every year.....heh.

Yay, I love you, thank you for squashing it. Please keep it squashed forever!

Glad he's not doing ProgPower as well as BWBK. Ill be seeing him at BWBK and im looking foward to that but I wouldn't want to see him headline again at ProgPower. His one other confirmed date is the end of April at BB Kings in NYC with Alex Skolnick Trio.

I have Caffery's solo efforts "Faces" and "The Damn War" both are awesome and I never expected his voice to sound like that. Im sure his headlining spot at BWBK wont be as bad as people think. Hes got alot of his own songs to work with and I know there will be Doctor Butcher and Savatage tunes thrown in. Since Cleveland is a Savatage town maybe some Savatage members come out for the encore.

thanks for the info. Those other artists with Caffery in NYC don't sound too interesting it seems, do they play any heavy music at all?
