In a brand new interview with AL.com, FOZZY frontman and WWE wrestling superstar Chris Jericho was asked if he trains the same for performing on the stage and performing in the ring, or if his preparation is totally different. He responded: "There really isn't preparation, because FOZZY is such a dynamic performance on stage. There's so much going on, so much energy that it's a cardio workout in itself. I sweat way more during a FOZZY show than I do during a wrestling match. Wrestling has ebbs and flows whereas FOZZY is 75-90 minutes of nonstop from the moment we hit the stage, it's energetic and constant performance. It is hard. You can do cardio till the cows come home. Try singing on top of that and putting on a show as the frontman and you can see how much harder it can be. Singing it itself is very hard to do. Combine that with the running and jumping and all that stuff that goes with being a frontman, it really does make it a lot harder. But it's fun. When you get in that gig shape, nobody can stop you once you start rolling." FOZZY's latest album, "Judas", came out last October via Century Media. The production duties on the disc were handled by Johnny Andrews, who co-wrote FOZZY's "Lights Go Out" track back in 2014 and has written songs with the likes of ALL THAT REMAINS, THREE DAYS GRACE and HALESTORM in the past. Jericho recently told WDHA-FM 105.5 FM that FOZZY will re-team with Andrews for its next album. Armed with two top 10 Active Rock hits, FOZZY is continuing the headlining "Judas Rising" tour this summer/fall with ADELITAS WAY, STONE BROKEN and THE STIR. The run kicks off in Atlanta on August 24, hitting major markets like Minneapolis, Cincinnati and St. Louis along the way. The announcement came after FOZZY's last single, "Painless", broke into the Top 10 on Active Rock radio,. "Painless" was the second focus track off the "Judas". Since its release, the track accumulated more than two million streams on Spotify and more than three million views on YouTube.
