I've been playing the hell out of the Vanden Plas but haven't touched the Evergrey in quite a while. The Evergrey is good but less than what I was expecting from them. They seem to have gone in a less complex, more airplay friendly direction.

I can't say the Evergrey struck me, but I've only listened to it once. The Vanden Plas is very good. I like it alot better than Beyond Daylight, the only other VP I own.

Anyway, maybe you can learn to appreciate Andy's vocal style with more listens. He puts so much passion into their music, it just wouldn't be VP without him on vocals. Bryant

I actually like most of his singing, Bryant, especially the softer parts. It's just that one thing that bugs me and Beyond Daylight was loaded with it. I've got Christ 0 queued up again tonight. :hotjump: It sure sounded great the other night. You can tell immediately that they put a lot of work into it.

I for one am jealous. I got all screwed up with the tracks I have. It has the first track labeled as Christ0 but it is actually the bonus track Gethsamane (or however you spell it) so none of the titles match up. They are in correct order less than the last track being moved to the front though. "Silently" and the bonus track "Gethsamane" were the first to grab me and I thought the damned name of the songs were "Shadow I am" and "Christ0" until I started getting to know some of the lyrics. I also don't know all of the lyrics except for the bonus track which was written by Andrew Loyd Webber.
