I bust Chuck an email from time to time just to see what's up. He's been great in replying back to me for the last couple of years. Great dude. One of my favorite bass players from the "rock" genre. Anyway I asked him a few questions regarding Greg Guffiria's leaving the band & when the record will be out? And also the possibility of a tour for the band.
Here's what he had to say:
Hi *****,
Well, Greg had many months to contribute song ideas and play on what we had
sent him...what he did was go behind our backs and cut a deal with our
label for his own solo release then bail on us. The label then stiffed us
for the rest of the monies in our aggreement. We had to give up control of
the record and have the labels person finish it and mix it with my
supervision. Not the best case scenario for us at all..we had bigger plans
for it..it's about 60% of what it could be - most of it still kicks butt
however.
We basically are washing our hands of the entire situation. No tour ever...
