Finally got a TS to throw in front of the C30, didn't know that it would make this much difference.
Vintage V100BB with stock pickups (will be replaced) > TS > C30 > SM57 > UX2
SSD drums, bass into same amp but on clean and dirty channel.
The sample consists of three parts,
Part one (0:00 to 0:32) has a classic rock vibe to it just to see how it would work out.
Part two (0:32 to 0:58) Is some groovy metal riff then
(0:58 to end) Is a faster riff with some open chords, forgive the aweful playing here, ran out of time.
Personally I'm quite surprised at the results, aspecially considering I've only ever miced an amp once or twice before.
What do you think? Any suggestions?
Cheers!
