Clean attempt

This is just a test for some clean tones. First time I actually tried them. Guitars are just DI from Orchid Electronics Direct Inject DI Box and using the leXTAC vst. Drums are Superior but they suck. What should I do to make them better. They really pull the mix down in my opinion.

So you're saying, Superior is... Inferior?

Cleans are pretty nice. They're a bit middy sounding. Though I love mids in my cleans, I've rarely heard middy cleans on a recording. It's a bit boxy?

The drums are pretty alright, I think. They sound like nice drums in a room.

What's your reverb settings like?
