Man, that show kicked ass. My ears still don't feel right from all the volume. I met Deathstrike up there, we both got to talk to Nevermore (sans Warrel) a bit after they played, and Warrel called out Deathstrike in the middle of the set, then asked if there were any other people from this board there (apparently I was the only other one). I took a bunch of pictures throughout the day, most interstingly a few of Deathstrike and myself with Nevermore, I will post them after I get my disposable camera developed (didn't want to risk taking the digital up there). I also had the opportunity to talk to Jim quite a bit wile Sleep Theater was playing (I was walking around the back area trying to hide from LaBrie's horrid voice), he told me they're hoping the support tour coming up will be with Fear Factory.
Nevermore (and every other band besides the headliner) had their set cut to 20 minutes due to a late start (Jim was pretty annoyed about that when I spoke to him later), but they kept it nice and brutal for what little time they did get, I don't think you could ask for a better 20 minute set. They played Born (what I REALLY wanted to see), The Final Product, The River Dragon, and Enemies of Reality.
On the bad side of things, I fucking HATE FYE. They wouldn't let you go to the signing booth unless you bought a CD from them, so I had to shell out $18 (!!) for TGE, which I had preordered from CM. I had this said copy signed by everyone but Warrel, and I had my Politics booklet sighned by Jeff, Jim, and Van. Also, FYE (I'm assunmine it was their doing) was charging insane prices for shirts, they had the pentagram NM shirt for $35 and a button up NM shirt for $50, those greedy fucks.
Other than that, Bobaflex, Drem Theater (although Petrucci's tone was godly) and Dry Kill Logic were fucking terrible, and I managed to get some pics of Bobaflex's bassist acting like an idiot.

dude. awesome show. still cant believe we were the only ones there from the forum though. :/ it was cool hanging out with you though. be sure to let me know when youre coming up for any more shows! \m/
