A newly released clip from the thriller "Mall", directed by LINKIN PARK bandmember Joe Hahn, can be seen below.Earlier this summer, Paragon Pictures, led by Evan Crooke, picked up the North American rights to "Mall". As the theatrical distribution division of Osiris Entertainment, Paragon Pictures is planning to release "Mall" on October 17. Hahn hosted an exclusive screening of "Mall" during the fith annual Nerd HQ event in San Diego. The premiere was followed by a "Conversations For A Cause" question-and-answer panel featuring Hahn, producer Sam Maydew (Silver Lining Entertainment), composer Alec Puro and cast members Cameron Monaghan (TV's "Shameless") and James Frecheville ("Animal Kingdom"). Moderated by Zachary Levi and The Nerd Machine, Hahn and the cast fielded questions about the thriller from a live audience at San Diego's Petco Park, while nearly ten thousand viewed the question-and-answer session via live stream online. Seen through the eyes of Jeff (played by Monaghan), the film examines a group of disgruntled suburbanites who find themselves at a shopping mall in the midst of a seemingly random shooting, and whose lives are positively transformed as a result. As a member of the multi-platinum Grammy-winning rock band, Hahn is responsible for the beats, programming and keyboard heard in LINKIN PARK. He has also directed as many as 30 of the band's ground-breaking music videos, and over a dozen short films and music videos for other musical acts. Now Hahn is making his full feature directorial debut with "Mall", featuring a script adapted from Eric Bogosian's 2001 novel of the same name by D'Onofrio, Joe Vinciguerra, and Sam Bisbee.
