Maryland rockers CLUTCH will release a collection of newly recorded songs, "Weathermaker Vault Series", this summer. The effort will include the band's cover of the Willie Dixon 1950s classic "Evil" (later recorded by CACTUS). CLUTCH's version of "Evil" will receive its world premiere on BBC Radio 1's "Rock Show With Daniel P. Carter" on Sunday, June 9 and will be made available worldwide on Monday, June 10. CLUTCH frontman Neil Fallon announced the upcoming release in a tweet earlier today. He wrote: "CLUTCH has had some sorely needed time off since our last tour, but it didn't take long for us to get bored, so we recorded some songs. We'll be releasing them over the course of this summer. We're calling them the 'Weathermaker Vault Series'. "The first song to be released is 'Evil' (Willie Dixon / CACTUS) and it will premiere on Dan Carter's BBC 1 Rock Show on Sunday, June 9th and released worldwide on June 10th. Also, we're aiming to play it during our set at Download, Friday, June 14th. "There's plenty more to come and we will keep you posted." CLUTCH's latest album, "Book Of Bad Decisions", was released last September.
