Well, there's no one big and popular band here. Most popular bands in Finland are HIM, Nightwish, COB, Sonata Arctica and many more. But COB is one of the biggest bands in here.

I don't live in Finland but everybody knows that HIM, Nightwish, Stratovarius and some other bands are popular in there (Like TrashedLost said). I guess that COB are popular too but not as popular as HIM.

Anyway, I think that COB are better musicians and one of the best bands of Finland.

Janne is far from being best keyboardist in the world. It is pretty much like saying Alexi is the best guitar player in the world and regardless of my love for his playing, I know for a fact that that's not true by a LONG shot.

Actually, Ville only sings in the band. There's a guitarist,a bass player, a keyboardist and a drummer too there.

But some of Finland's most popular metal bands: HIM, Nightwish, Cob, Nightwish, Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Mokoma, Stam1na, Kotiteollisuus, Sentenced, Norther, Ensiferum, Apocalyptica, Charon, Lordi (debatable if it's metal or not...), Tarot and Diablo...for example.
