I don't normally try to tell people what to listen to...... but damnit !! pull out "For Those About To Rock" and listen to this song !! I was driving to work last night and had my Sansa on random. That song came on, and I had to listen to it three times. It might have been four or five times in a row had I not arrived at work. AC/DC had just past their prime (IMO) when this came out, but what a wicked song !! When Malcolm joins in to the song...... it just sounds so bad-ass !!

Than it must be someone else who told me to listen to Tad Morose and Vandenplas. Damn, was sure that was you :Spin:
AC/DC is one of those bands I keep listening to. all their records get a regular spin from me. I'm also very anxious for the new album, hope it will be good !!

For Those About To Rock was my first AC/DC album, so I have a notalgic place for it in my heart...but even being objective I feel it is one of the best AC/DC albums. COD rules! As do Inject the Venom, Evil Walks, Breaking the Rules...and of coures the title track. The whole album is great. I think it was a very good follow up to Back in Black.

FTATR was, IMO the last good AC/DC release..Flick of the Switch was the last one I purchased. We'll see how the new one sounds if/when it comes out...(my first ac/dc cd was Powerage)

I'm not a fan of AC/DC. But FTATR has the first song I ever heard by them, and I still love it, the title track. I agree that it was the last good album in a sense, for fans who never cared that the band remain static will disagree with us.

Pfft, their live performances are the only reason to listen to them. Which is why I own 3 DVDs for them but only one studio album. :p

Hmmm.... as a whole, I prefer the Bon Scott era, but their best work simply has to be "Back in Black." Incredible songwriting, performance and production. Mutt Lange showed he is GOD as a producer. I really lost interest after FTATR. However, COD is one of my top songs from them. I seen my old post and had to stick it back in. Good disc.
