Hey guys,
I know the regular-sized fluorescent lights still waste energy after they stop working, because their reactor (or start engine, the electronic part of the lamp) keeps trying to make the lamp work. How about the compact fluorescent light bulbs? I have half a dozen non-working bulbs at home, and since my energy bill is raising without any plausible explanation, this detail came to my mind...
