Coney Hatch frontman, Carl Dixon, has shared a new video along with the following introduction:

“A couple of young lads with a new camera recorded some of our Thunder Bay show. The sound quality isn’t the greatest, but I thought it was interesting to lay the modern live version next to the original recording from our Outa Hand album (1983). ‘To Feel The Feeling’ was based on a poem I wrote and it remains one of my favourite compositions. I’m thinking of recording a new acoustic version.”

Carl Dixon (Coney Hatch, The Guess Who, April Wine) and Sean Kelly (Nelly Furtado, Lee Aaron, Crash Kelly), recently joined forces as Northern Strum, a classic rock duo reviving timeless tunes, Canadian music and classic rock.

In the videos below, the duo perform the iconic Rush hit Closer To The Heart, as well as Coney Hatch’s Hey Operator:

Additionally, Dixon and Kelly performed BTO’s Let It Ride, Trooper’s We’re Here For A Good Time (Not A Long Time), and Anne Murray’s Snowbird.
