xfer, I was on hiatus! It wasn't until I braved the insane heat this weekend, and the hordes of lumbering fat people in shorts and tank tops at the malls that I realized I badly needed the cool balm of the KAYO DOT BOARD.

why do you need a hair straightener? your hair always looked straight to me.

alex, my hair is really wavy/nappy due to my unlucky TRI-ETHNIC background. i blow dry it straight every freakin day. my sister called me singing the praises of this straightener and i had to try it. (my sister's hair is like, 100% blow out afro)

um and black! but yea. my hair is pretty nuts. it's fine like my mom's but there's A LOT OF IT and some of it is really napped out.

jodi wanted one of those hair straighteners, and the hair dresser ppl told her to get one of the ceramic ones that were like $100, so $60 isn't bad i guess. she didn't get one, but i think it may be a good bday present.

speaking of which, i guess i missed your bday too? sorry sad panda.

chupe, the ones she wants are on ebay for much cheaper. they are FHI brand. sayin.
