Drums = slate hybrid I've made. It's a bit of Black and bit of Panty. Toms down tuned a bit.

Guitars = pod bogner model with boost+eq stomp, cab off, into a catharsis impulse.. with quite extreme post low end control. I've been pretty happy with this pod patch of mine just by itself but I felt like trying something different.. I like it, but maybe a bit dull?

Bass = almost exactly same as guitar

Another new thing for me here is the airwindows channel plug all over the place. Having fun with that.

Song not really finished. I'm liking it though hopefully I can polish it off

This sounds quite good but the whole mix is also quite scooped. Some more mids would be great. And the snare could come up a bit.

song is awesome man, the mix needs more mids for sure, that guitar tone is just dieing for some thickness, and the bass could come up a tad.

dude this is sick, the intro sounds like it could've been on Karnivool's first album, but then it goes a bit more metal later on.

Weird.. it never occurred to me that it's severely lacking mids. And still doesn't strike me as scooped... but... I haven't really referenced it to anything else.
And I'm used to with/around these drums, which are quite sharp I guess.

Maybe it's something in my monitoring situation I need to look into..

The cymbals are pretty thin. It seems like they're only high-end and nothing else. The guitars are pretty cool and I dig the snare!
