Shadows Fall kicks some major ass...these guys are serious musicians and it shows in a big way on their last 2 albums. Definitely bringing come Thrash attitude back to the forefront of metal. Latest CD is awesome and I'm about to see them live for the 2nd time - the first time they just obliterated the crowd.
He should definitely cut the dreads, but that has nothing to do with their music as far as I'm concerned.
