Coolest shooting scenes?

What do you guys think are the coolest shooting scenes from any movie or any entire shooting-filled movie?

Ones I can think of at the moment:

1.) Matrix - Lobby Scene
2.) Die Hard 1 (the whole movie)
3.) Robocop 1 (the whole movie)
4.) The Boondock Saints (the whole movie)

i guess it's almost mandatory to seceond that scene in matrix, not that i don't like it's just so obviously awesome.

other great ones:
the one in predator when that gung ho-guy chops some jungle with his minigun.

when Arnie is blasting cop cars in T2 from the office window.

oh, and that one in "the jackal" when bruce willis proves to a guy that the sight on his gun is inproperly adjusted by blowing the guys hand off, great stuff.

Saving Private Ryan!!! The whole fawlking movie, especially at the beach and in the town.

Pulp Fiction, the scene where the guy with the handcanon comes out and completely misses the two guys.

Scarface, last scene.

Violent Cop, last scene.

Battle Royale, most of the movie.

Saving Private Ryan, the beach scene.

I'd have to agree with Scarface and Saving Private Ryan

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly-last scene, its so suspenseful the way the previous 2+ hours of the movie build up to this scene, and the music is incredibly appropriate.

Blackhawk Down (eh, which scene doesn't have shooting in it )

Matrix and Boondock Saints both had great scenes but my new favorite now is:

Open Range-that gunfight at the end is the rootinest tootinest badass scene in recent cinema.

I was gonna mention the Heat street fight as well. Very intense and shot with a great epic feel. Its really gut-wrenching watching all those ordinary cops getting gunned down. =(


Matrix lobby scene, lol, that's one of the worst gunfight scenes I can think of. All the exploding concrete is so contrived it just looks lame, and neo and trinity spend so much time doing fucking stupid acrobatics directly in the line of fire its impossible to even pretend they wouldn't have been shot to peices had the film not just been showing off all this fancy claptrap just to look cool.

Well, I guess I'm not the only one who loves that street shoot out in Heat. That's the first scene that came to mind when I read the title of the thread. No music, just incredibly realistic gunfire. That scene made the movie for me.

THE KILLER (Jap), BOONDOCK SAINTS, ROBOCOP 2, THE MATRIX, PULP FICTION, THE PROFESSIONAL, DESPERADO, YOUNG GUNS, PREDATOR, ALIENS, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, FULL METAL JACKET...To name a few off the top of my head.

I'd like to add the car chase in Ronin, one of the most underrated action movies ever! (you actually see innoncent bystanders get shot!)

Someone mentioned this, my favorite is when all the guys in predator practically clear a chunk of the jungle with so much gunfire.
