I've seen a lot of references to Coroner on the board lately, so I decided to check them out and...HOLY SHIT!

These guys rock! Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for making me aware of this band! (#1 Droggie being the one who I think has mentioned them the most. thanks dude)

which album(s) did you listen to ? my fav' is their second album, Punishment for Decadence, but pretty much everything they did kicks ass !

I hope they get back together and show to the metal community what an intelligent thrash band can do !

so get everything else and you'll realise Coroner are the best european thrash act and probably one of the best on the planet !

Perfect, you started by the beginning, now save some money and get all until "Mental Vortex" my favorite and their best IMO. If you get really hooked by the band save some more and get the rest

For me the order will be:

3. "No More Colors"
4. "Grin"
5. "Punishment For Decadence"
6. "Coroner"

Daughter of death
Realm of the sun
Merciless, invincible

Coroner is probably my favorite band of all time. I cant decide which album is my favorite though.....but if I only had R.I.P., I would get the rest in chronological order, to hear how their musicianship evolved....it's unreal how they change from R.I.P. to Grin, all albums wonderful. Glad you could get into them!

I just have to throw a shout out to Delize who introduced me to their Death Cult demo, if you want to see their embryotic state, then look no further! you can really hear the forshadowing of brilliance that came later on.

Yeah Del also provided me with the "Death Cult" demo and therefore she help me complete my collection

Also I was damn surprise by the musical quality of the demo, those guys knew from day one where they wanted to be, sadly after 5 greast albums they call it a day
