My band tracked drums at a local studio recently, and the engineer there gave us both the bounced drum tracks and the session files, in case we needed them. Turns out we do, as the tracks he gave us have obvious splicing of takes where the overheads pop in and out, etc.
The mix engineer we'll be working with uses PT8, and I use Sonar, so I can't open them either. I asked the guy we recorded with to do it, but he's being really slow. Can anyone do me a solid here?
