Hello ,
im asking someone to reamp some D.I´s because i spent last week going thru all the amp sims and impulses i have and i cant even get a good sound to start tweaking.
seriously...not even one...

so is there anyone willing to do a free reamping?

Thank you very much

the D.I´s (double tracked GTL and GTR)

http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/453972/Sudores rough mix.mp3

if you can make only 1 or 2 i prefer you do
1º pendiente de ti
2º Sudores
(in this order of preference)

I guess I can. ^_^
Not promising to do all of them though.

Edit: I only have access to pod farm and revalver mkIII, with loads of impulses, though.

I could give 1 or 2 of them a shot. Do you have a rough mix as an mp3 though? It makes it a bit easier rather than shooting in the dark. If not I will just take a shot at it.

Just downloaded the pendiente de ti track. It doesn't seem like a D.I. to me!?

They are DI's but you have to wait for like over a minute of silence because I believe there was clean guitar in that area and apparently The-Zeronaut only want's the distorted guitars reamped.

EDIT: If you listen to the rough mixes without guitars you'll notice there is piano in the places where the DI's are silent.

Sorry for the delay. Here is a sample of Pendiente with raw guitars:

The full wav's for that song are in "The Zeronaut" folder at www.mediafire.com/guitarhack

Unfortunately there are some issues with those DI's. There is a bit of background noise. On Sudores, when the strings get hit hard, it actually goes out of tune, soft/hard picking....etc.... Not trying to be an ass, these are just some observations. I had to use a bit more gain to make it sound full in some parts, so other parts are overgained/buzzy. Overall, I am not really happy with the result (and don't really have too much time at the moment to spend on it), but thought I would post it anyway since I said I would have a go for you. Sorry I couldn't get a better result.

In other news, GuitarHack just heard a gnat fart somewhere in Asia (in the key of G).

Have you checked out the DI's? If you have and can't hear what I am talking about, you have a hearing problem, it is that obvious. I was just trying to say it constructively. I could have just said this:

The guitarrists suck man, tell them to attack the strings tighter and harder, so we don't have to use shitloads of gain on the amps...

Cheers!

Zeronaut seemed curious as to why he couldn't get a result he was happy with, so I just posted a few possible reasons.

I don't hear any Tremelo Spring noise though -J- .

Like others said the DI's are a little noisy, and the players should re-track the guitars because they're pretty sloppy, and could be much tighter. The drum's could be redone as well because they are also pretty sloppy. However, I did run Sudores through my Single Rec today.

Here is an MP3 of the mix with completely raw guitars: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/316028/Sudores_SingleRec_Mix.mp3
Here is a link to the zip file with wav's of the raw guitar tracks: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/316028/TheZeronaut_SingleRec_Reamp.zip

If you like how these came out I can Reamp your other songs sometime later this week or next week.

Sorry, too noisy. It's interfering with my "tonal perception", maybe cause I'm i'm a n00b. lol.
Ask the players to retrack.
Sorry again.

Cheers!

I have to admit I didn't listen to them. But you have great ears nonetheless!!

Hmm, yup, sounds like a Single Rec :erk: And I gotta be honest, those drums seriously sound like popcorn in the beginning
