Where are the Di'Anno songs? we have 2 Bayley era songs???

I don't know if she would look good on that cover, but as there is no info (i.e. good pics) of the new bassist on the site yet, it is a moot point. :p

She's safe in the meantime. :D

what to do, what to do... :)

Personally, I think that this cover should be Eddie dressed the same way, but using the scepter to smash in the head of that horse-tooth jackass-lookin', poo-faced git Prince Charles.

I'm imagining that several Brits would be more than happy to see a cover like that, too!

DREAMMASTER---Who did that artwork? Derek Riggs? You guys should visit Derek's site and buy some art from him. I wish he'd do Maiden again or at least our new art. I wonder if we could afford him. His link is on our front page.

Well, it wasn't Derek Riggs, but the guy that did that artwork is really good. Is called Hervé Monjeaud and he has done others illustrations for the same fanzine (see below):

If you want to know how to contact this guy go to:

Unless it has to do with previously unrelesed material, then it doesn't matter! Everyone should buy the first 5 or 6 cd's and from then on it should be listener's choice. What you get is what you get after Bruce left in the late 80's. The Maidens know the good songs. Do they ever try to play any of the crap after the wild an wooly 80's. Iron Maiden - The Maidens

What ever happened to 17 Numbers By The Beast? Did that ever get released?

That was promo only...

did you notice that in Afraid to Shoot Strangers from Live @ Donington, isn't Bruce singing, but Blaze...? Blaze era Maiden never played Castle Donington

No Shit! Some of the best maiden songs are on the first two albums. How could you not even put their classic theme song "Iron Maiden" in that lineup? This isn't a greatest hits, more like random picks! Shesh, even the maidens have a better line up. Seems like some management money hungry dork selecting the tracks and that person doesn't have a clue as to what the "Best" songs are! (Cmon Steve...don't let them arse you around!)

Oh yes...those drawings by Hervé Monjeaud are pretty damned cool....I like!

Not on the Live @ Donington, but on the 17 Numbers by the Beast promo... the track credited to the Live @ Donington record actually has Blaze singing... as far as I know, Blaze era Maiden never played Castle Donington ...

Hey, Keyser Soze- That song by the Bruce is great! Also after "Seventh Son" (Like Mel Says), Bruce's solo work is definitely worth looking at. Except, Tattoed Millionaire was lame. Sorry, Bruce, but it really sucked blue tight ones. But, as The Who say, " Long live rock, be it dead or alive."
