lmao who still listens to this band? Like when nu metal was cool I could see that acting as a funnel to shit like this but in 2010 kids who wanna be edgier than their peers can get on the internet and be able to reel off ten dozen bedroom black metal projects within a week. That whole aesthetic isn't cool with kids any more is it? And given nobody out of high school could seriously like this band who is listening to them?

Honestly, I think that is the worst Cradle of Filth album cover they've used. How can anyone even compare album covers they use now to the ones on their older albums? It looks very immature and cartoonish, like some sort of attempt at a Tim Burton piece done with very amateur photoshop skills.But I'm really not fond of digital/photoshop album covers anyways.

The band started becoming a parody of themselves years ago but sometimes I wonder if they really are making fun of themselves. They're a little bit too cartoonish these days.

I'm a fan of their older stuff but I don't mind the new song. Traditionally, Cradle of Filth uses one of the album's weaker tracks for promotion, I can only assume the rest of the album is better. Whenever Dani writes a description of their upcoming album, he always say the same thing just in different words. And it's always their fastest and heaviest album to date according to him.

I expect to see a lot of black metal purists who listen almost exclusively to very underground bands that only they have heard of showing up to show their hate for CoF, but I like CoF. Fuck what others say.

Dani's vocals are my main problem with the band. They're absolutely earsplittingly painful.

lol oh yeah. clearly the only people who dislike Cradle of Filth listen to black metal bands nobody has heard of.

I listen to CoF but only Godspeed. Danis vocals are awesome. They just take a while to get used to. I prefer their newer style to their older work although i havent really given their older stuff a proper listen. The song is ok but they seem to be going in the same direction as dimmu, with the new addition of a female vocalist. I havent decided if this is a good move yet or not. Ill have to wait until the album is released first. Hopefully there will be a special edition with different artwork.

Wow, how long have you listened to Cradle of Filth? There have been female guest vocals on every album; mainly done by Sarah Jezebel Deva, who left the band a couple years ago.
