According to a recent press release, CRADLE OF FILTH guitarist Gian Pyres has left the band:
"After six years as guitarist with CRADLE OF FILTH, Gian Pyres has announced that he will be leaving the band. Gian would like to continue his career in music, but in a slightly different direction and one that will allow him more time in his personal life. He remains great friends with the band, and COF, of course, wish him all the best for the future and are disappointed to lose him at such an exciting time in their career. The band are currently ensconced in the studio recording their first album for Epic Records, tentatively titled Damnation And A Day. The album is due for release next February with a single in January."
