A recruiter just called me and asked If I'd be willing to go back to work for the company that let me go last year. I really don't want to go back to work for that company. I really didn't like it there, but if I tell this recruiter that I might as well forget about ever getting a job thru them. Now I have to decide wether or not to go back to that shitty company or just bite the bullet and lose a staffing agency. Crap, crap, crap. :Smug:

$$$ is about the only reason I would go back. The good thing is that it's only for a year long project and the position I would be going for brings with it much more cash than I was previously making. But I really don't like it there. I'll probably agree to meeting with my old boss and seeing if he even wants me to come back. But I'm sure not happy about it. Letting me go last year was the best thing that company ever did for me.

I would never work for any of the company I worked for again. I can understand how you are feeling, I was in the same situation a year or so ago and I didn't go back. Big difference was that I was not unemployed at the time... The joys of the IT work market...

It sucks. I was deamed unnecessary a year ago and to just forgive and forget that whole shit is kind of difficult. I think I have to though. I don't have much of a choice.

also, I played our first fastpitch game of the year tonite and I sucked ass. I currently have an era of 21. So I'm also pissed off about that. I've been busting my ass for the last three months to get in shape and to come out with that poor of performance just pisses me off. I'm just having a really shitty day today.

I actually just told the dude I'd be willing to go back. I find out thurs or friday if they want me back. I'm hoping not but if they do at least they're going to pay me a shitload of money.

At least you know for how long you are going to have to be there, and it gives you enough time to start looking for something else in the last months of your contract...

I have the feeling the studio is going to get a few upgrades :)

Yeah, a few mics, a new mic pre, and a compressor once I get some bills paid down. :)

But actually I don't think there's any time frame to this contract so I can leave whenever an opportunity presents itself. At least that's the impression I got.
