In order to follow the pressure that has been put on me since others in this forum have started to follow certain rules I hereby announce in this thread I have created so everyone here can post his or her own personal rules for posting, when they start to be applied and when the forum user no longer feels obligated to them, that I will follow Hyena's example of simplifying posts to make them easier to read and will only write one single sentence in every post I post.

Your post is murky, obscure, needs editing but might - on second thought - divert the eyes from my semi-incoherent efforts to circumvent specific requirements of most sentences (i.e., conjunctions).

I just reread my previous post and it worries me that you do not seem to be able to understand my post although it is as far as I can see spotless with all the conjunctions that are necessary at the right place and as easy to understand as possible due to the fact that it only contains one sentence which leads my mind to the problems that must arise whenever you read posts consisting of several sentences with thoughtinterrupting dots.

matse, very good idea.

i will keep my words as short and as bland as i can until those who did bring this on say sorry. which might be never, so the short words are here to stay!

edit: siren's sig says it all.

I'll just keep on posting the way I do, ending up with strange structures created by my French language roots. I cannot deal with short and simple, I enjoy literature too much for that. I'll remain with a good deal of dialogue-like writing and enjoy the use of "le mot juste" here and there.

Ah, just when I almost started to believe you are really just having fun! Hmmm...

From now on, maybe I should learn swahili to be able to communicate here in a proper manner.

Nah, no matter how hard you try, you rarely dont make any sense. Youre just useless. :)

Yay!!! Fun!!! So from this moment on, I will include animals in my sentences so I can clarify my statements and be respectful with Mother Nature at the same time, for the sake of the mighty elephant!!! You have been wise as a penguin, Matse, it won't be easy, and it won't make sense, but a lion must do what a lion must do.

Of course, I'll keep this rule until the last of the eagles that invade the sky surrender and say sorry, that is!!!

@Rampage: Au fait, tu peux bien utilisér tes references françaises, il serait parfait pour mon apprentissage. Errr... et j'aime bien les fourmies... (on ne doit pas oublier la règle!!!)

i do have quite a lot of fun with this. but what i do and say (not only me - what one does and says, as a rule) also does imply a stand, which by the way was my point from the start about the world seen in its whole. there is no "just fun" - ever. one means stuff at all times, even if they do not know it. :) as said in a post a while ago, being dumb with a point is also a form of art.

point n. 2, which was not in the plan, is that all of us now seem fine with a low level of talk, which just goes to show the truth about one of these:

(a) the posts i used to make did not add much
(b) very few care about posts that add much

i think it is 30 per cent (a) and 70 per cent (b) - plus, it is not just the board, it is the world at large. so i will stick to being silly and give news feeds about carla. :p

edit: also, most seem to like this thing where you write in a weird way, and this shows that silly ideas do catch on! i rule, as per the queen on the left.

matse really really needs to simplify his post.he was good at using Clauses^.^

err....I will post in both English and chinese from now on in order to make my sentences more understandable
@|ngenius:Now you have Mother Nature's blessings.

It is not size that matters, but content.

point n. 2, which was not in the plan, (bla, bla...)

THE plan? Thought it was God's, THE plan, and he got wrapped it up in 7 days. I know he's almighty, but it's taking you guys way more time than the original. :p

In here the animal used was "God", as he is shaped in human form, he is probably counted as part of the animal kingdom, proof of my sharpened sense of humor.

@LoveMikael: Do you imply that I should stop this carousel of fun because I reached my objective? What about the eagles in the sky? Are they sorry yet?

Me, I believe it's 100% "b", which is quite convenient since right now I couldn't for the life of me consider the other option.

It's difficult to express such views like this, but I'm going to try.
With the help of very few selected new people who tend to be just terrible in their every other post, it seems the forum often plunges into "low buzz" mode, everybody writes sort of like if they were busy spending some quite boring, repetitive, monotonous night out with long-time friends, forgetting to contribute to discussions with some emergy beside (un)funny jokes or trite one-liners. It's ok for seven-fourteen revolutions of the globe on itself while in its orbit circumventing the sun (whew!), but obnoxious since then. We should try to come up with the effort to overcome the weight of lesser posters' contributions.

edit: also, most seem to like this thing where you write in a weird way, and this shows that silly ideas do catch on! i rule, as per the queen on the left.

My opinion differs on this one: writing with rules helps our proficiency/fluency in English: experienced renowned writers often expressed intense proclivity for this kind of frivolities themselves!

Conclusion: rahvin is at his best (also argued by some that that is at the peak of mean-ness) in the absence of the letter "a". he also can't say his name, which in itself is purely grim and evil.

thank you!

i like the fact that you think and write this, it shows that you care about the board.

as for me, i think i have done a lot of that in the past 5 years, but as of late i do not feel like doing it. when i try to say stuff that has more than one layer and makes sense in any way, folks don't read it, or think i play some weird mind game, or - even worse! - just do it for style. i know this does not apply to all, and i say sorry to those who did read my posts, maybe liked them, and meant to trade views. still, i see that most stabs at stuff that adds depth are taken the wrong way.

it is quite bad to have to fight over one's takes on the world in real life, i don't want my head to hurt over the same on the net. also, there is no loser in this game. i relax, and those who want it short and easy have it short and easy. also, i get more time to write stuff i get paid for, they get more time to do what they like; i give some of those who hang out here a laugh or two, they get to set the tone of the board.

My opinion differs on this one: writing with rules helps our proficiency/fluency in English: experienced renowned writers often expressed intense proclivity for this kind of frivolities themselves!

yes, yes you are right. and this is the best part - turns out it's not us who are dumb. :)
