Crimson Glory done?

My favorite comment on Blabbermouth is, "Well given Crimson Glory's record of getting things done, I'm guessing it wasn't speed."

I nearly lost a keyboard.

This might explain why Todd left; drugs have destroyed many great bands... from Hendrix to Nirvana...

Such a shame...

I think it would've been interesting to hear Rick Mythiasin sing for them. Don't know how reliable he is though or else I imagine he would've stayed in AGENT STEEL.

That new demo song they posted was horrible and way beneath their standards. It's better not to continue if that is what we are going to get. Their old stuff was awesome and timeless. Maybe it is better to leave it at that.

I'll never forget meeting him at the ProgPower signing table. He was really fixated on selling a CG poster for some reason. Seemed a bit out of it. Anyway, told him I already bought a t-shirt. Wade Black however was really decent to talk with outside he Residence Inn.

Cant say I am surprised. I dont think CG was going to do anything again anyways, Jon never put the band in front of his priorities that much is clear.

Dude. That was NOT okay on so many levels...

Sorry, my bad. That came out a lot harsher than I meant it to be. My point was that they always claimed that Midnight couldn't get his shit together.

In saying that, it sucks that Jon got busted.

Sorry if I offended ya.

the article said:
arrested on April 8 in Sarasota, Florida on charges of conspiracy to purchase cocaine (Schedule II substance) and use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.

So, not only is he being charged with buying (or selling?) drugs, but apparently it's an additional crime to use walkie-talkies to do it? Just so the state can add time onto the offender's sentence? Why not charge him with "driving a car to the scene of the crime", or "putting on shoes with intent to walk to the crime", or "wearing a cowboy hat to the crime scene"? Just charge him with everything he did that day. That'll teach the guy to stay away from drugs!!!

I'm a libertarian, so my thoughts on this story in general are going to be different than those of the rest of the forum... but no matter who you are, you have to admit that that's a pretty fucked up thing.

I'm not a libertarian, but I agree that is completely ridiculous.

The final analysis with CG is they released a great EP and a genre defining album in the world of prog/power metal..anything after that was basically garbage..the only thing they did right since Transcendence is hire LaTorre and Jon fucked that up too….IMHO
