I'm glad neither one of them made it. If they both would have gotten to the series, disaster would have occured when the curses kicked in. Since neither team can win, some sort of freak accident would have happened to cancel the World Series. Maybe the rats at Fenway attack the Cubs and everyone comes down with rabies, or someone replaces the ivy at Wrigley with poison ivy and everyone gets really, really itchy. That or one team actually wins the series, causing an immediate tear in the space-time continuum resulting in the instantaneous and total destruction of the universe. Or something.

By the way, go Marlins. I fuckin' hate the Yankees.
