Favela of My Dismay
What has everybody been drinking as of late? I've been indulging in vodka laced ginger ale in order to take the edge off. 1 hearty pint and I'm as golden as a Maria Ozawa showerhead. Fucking jewy jewriffic*, I think I may pick up some V8 in the next couple days and try my hand at a bloody mary. Any RC Recipes out there?!

If I were to drink beer, I'd probably pick up a foursy of Dog Fish Head 90min. It has a finish suitable for a 57 Mustang. Fuckin' Killa saaaaaire!

I found a great beer over here. Its an organic pilsener, but its taste reminds me very much of some of the tasty IPAs and bitters I#ve tasted. and its not overly expensive either.

My recipe for a bloody-mary esque drink is as follows:
1/3 vodka
2/3 Tomato juice (or veggie juice)
lots of worcestershire sauce (1 tablespoon?)
lots of tobasco (1/2 tablespoon)
roughly 1tsp celery salt
roughly 1/2 tsp salt
roughly 1/2 tsp sugar
roughly 1/2 tablespoon basil (or fresh basil finely chopped)
roughly 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
some pepper

I make it in a big measuring cup and pour it through a funnel into a plastic water bottle (around 1 liter in size). Shake. Consume. Enjoy.
 
Bloody Mary's, much to my dismay, still taste like tomato soup. And I fucking HATE tomato soup.

Currently downing the last of my rum in a dry ginger ale mix, before I hit the gin that remains refridg'd.
 
Bloody Marys are fucking gross. Im not a big fan of v8 and shit like that either, but vegetables, and fuck you, yes it is a vegetable - I dont care what you say! - have no godamn business mixing with alcohawl. And you can take that dry, stringy piece of nasty celery and shove it up your ass while you're at it.
 
I've been drinking a fair share of Craft beer and homebrew. Made another great IPA and currently aging a smoked barleywine.

If I were in Europe again, I think I'd go insane without having an American IPA every once in a while. A good German pils wouldn't cut it all the time. Ayinger and Spaten Pils for the fucking win!
 
Mostly red wine lately. I've been house sitting for a friends family the last two weeks, they have an extensive wine cellar that I'm welcome to.
 
Tomato soup is deliciousness, I am having some now. Bloody Marys are good as long as they aren't junked up with celery and horseradish *quiver*

But in general, fuck it all. I don't plan on drinking again til our Halloween party :Spin:
