CH is the only rap I listen too. I think they have the most talent out of every rap group around. Plus, they're not uber-commericialized shit. They make great dark, stoner hip-hip. I think they also have some of the best album covers ever, especially for a rap band. Looking at the album covers you'd think they were a metal band:

What I ment was while they are one of the most well known rap groups, I hardly ever hear of them being on MTV, which is filled with shit. The only videos I ever saw of them any any "popular" music station was the versons of "Superstar (Rap and Rock)" and "What's Your Number".

Cypress Hill made some pretty good stuff early on, but they lost me after Temple of Boom. On the topic of 'dark' hiphop, this is a pretty fun album too:

Gravediggaz - Six Feet Deep

Featuring the RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan. The subject matter on that album is also more stuff you'd expect on a metal album and it's all pretty tongue in cheek. Fun stuff. Especially the track "Nowhere to run, Nowhere to hide".

yeah i dig the first cypress hill. i usually dig the old-shcool rap.the gravediggaz is pretty cool.before anyone freaks out...house of pain I think are pretty good and have the guys from cypress hill on the first l.p."fine malt lyrics".I know we all heard jump around and it was played to death.that being said the other tracks on the album are good.something to consider.

yeah they werent bad. I have always liked old school rappers like: 2 Live Crew, The Beastie Boys, Public Enemy and Run DMC.
