Long-running Danish rockers D-A-D were forced to cut short their outdoor concert Friday night (May 29) in Aarhus, Denmark after only fifteen minutes when the band's bassist Stig Pedersen fell on the wet stage in his new, high-heeled boots because of rainy weather conditions. After Pedersen left the stage, D-A-D took a little break to assess the situation before Jesper and Jacob Binzer came back to perform an acoustic version of the band's classic song "Laugh And A 1/2". The group then informed the crowd that the rest of the concert had to be canceled because Pedersen had a broken arm.D-A-D was the evening's last scheduled performer after appearances by DÚNÉ, LOVE SHOP and DIZZY MIZZ LIZZY.D-A-D has since taken to its Facebook page to announce that that the band's next concert — which is slated to take place tonight (Saturday, May 30) at Herning Rocker in Herning, Denmark — will go ahead without Stig. The band will also use a stand-in bassist when it performs at the Sweden Rock Festival on Wednesday, June 3. Pedersen will reportedly be sidelined six to eight weeks.D-A-D's latest studio album, "DIC.NII.LAN.DAFT.ERD.ARK", came out in 2011.
