Belgian vicious punk/metal outfit DAGGERS will release its third album, "It's Not Jazz, It's Blues", in the spring via Throatruiner Records. Like the band's previous releases, the follow-up to 2011's "Euphoria" (Twelve Gauge Records/Holy Roar Records) was recorded live and mixed by Ben Phillips, then mastered by Magnus Lindberg (CULT OF LUNA). In existence for five years, DAGGERS has worked hard on creating unique and singular records to forge a very personal sound. "It's Not Jazz, It's Blues" sees the band morphing into an entirely different animal than on their crust-infused hardcore previous releases, delivering twelve epic tracks that will drag you down to the bottom of the earth and shred the life out of you with the haste and anger of a thousand rusty swords.
