A new metal festival is being launched this year in October. 
DAMNATION
If you have long hair, a CD collection that Satan himself would take pride in, and a faraway look in your eyes, then this is probably the place for you: www.damnationfestival.co.uk
So far the line up includes (with many more bands to be announced) :
Panic Cell:With the music media waiting for their destined explosion into the metal mainstream, Damnation may well be the last chance fans get to see the guys close up and personal before they head into the big time circuit and only have time for thin blondes and their Champagne.
ForWayKill: Damnation Festival is proud to bring last years Bloodstock 2nd Stage headliners, 4WK, and their metal tractors apparently, to Manchester for what is sure to be a show to remember.
Conquest of Steel: Conquest of Steel are looking forward to their performance, they said: As true metal warriors we are proud to announce our appearance at this year's Damnation Festival for a day of beer, spikes and true British METAL!"
Nailed:Growlers, Nailed, aren't interested in making friends, simply destroying everything in their path will do just fine. Manchester has a lot to answer for.. is all they had to say about their appearance. Fighting talk!
Tickets will be available on the website from 18th April.
It will be held over two stages in Jilly's Rockworld in Manchester on the 16th October 2005, be there!
