Is this the most talked about opener ever? Haken had a ton of buzz among the prog fans but Damnation Angels seem to be universally loved. Pretty cool.

I haven't been on this board long enough to have a full historical grasp on opener buzz, but it does seem that DA is getting high marks from almost everyone across the PP spectrum. I know I've been playing the hell out of it in the past 1.5 days.

Has anyone ever seen this video from the Damnation Angels singer, Pellek? I don't know if it's the atmosphere of the wilderness mixed with his screams, but I always get chills when I hear this....

He does have an amazing voice in every clip I've seen of his. I'm not a Damnation Angels fan, but I look forward to seeing him on other projects over the years to come.
