hey folks! just wondering what you think of this drummer... personally i love his work. I know i've seen him mentioned here before, so if ya could give me reasons you like (or dislike him)... it's kind of a personal survey i am conducting hehe

I'm no drum expert, but I love his drumming.

There you go, uneducated opinion :)

I think he's the best drummer alive.

He is without a doubt the most creative drummer out there. When I listen to Aenima I still hear new small nuances in his drum riffs that I've never caught before. Watching him live is amazing cause he seems like he doens't even try. He's sold his soul to satan and so he has recieved in return super human drumming skills....or so I've been told. Every night they play live he positions his kit in accordance with certain geometric angles that supposed to allow him to focus spiritual energy. Crazy I tell you.

Sean Reineart is much better than danny carey...

I second that. Sean Reinert is head and shoulders above. Danny ain't nothin' to sneeze at, but far from the best. I'd say Billy Cobham is the best drummer alive, though.

I think he is an amazing drummer and definitely adds much to Tool. I've seen them live twice, and he most certainly stole the show. He might not be the most technical drummer alive, but he is very technical and has a very unique style.
