The reformed DARK ANGEL — featuring guitarists Jim Durkin and Eric Meyer, vocalist Ron Rinehart, and drummer Gene Hoglan (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD) — have cancelled their previously-announced West Coast tour, originally set to take place in December, due to "scheduling conflicts." "Our schedules were way off at this point, and we don't want to do it half-assed, so we will regroup at a later date and give the fans what they want," Durkin told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "My apologies to everyone."

This sucks. Oh well, I hope they do indeed reschedule
the tour!

According to the new Dark Angel Fan Club mailer:

We regret to announce that the Dark Angel shows in December are
being rescheduled for March 2003, due to numerous personal
scheduling conflicts within the band. Our sincere apologies go out
to everyone who has been inconvenienced because of this. It is our
intention to appear at the same venues, and to include several more
dates to the tour as well. As soon as the new dates are confirmed
they will be posted on the D.A. website at www.thebiitch.com.
We appreciate the support of all of our fans, and there are several
exciting new developments that we will announce in the very near
future.
Horns up!
- Eric Meyer
