Who else is into this great power metal band?!?! I think they are godly!! I download a few tracks to check them out and was blown away.. I soon after bought 'The Hall Of The Olden Dreams' and thought it was a masterpiece!!! Great tracks throughout the whole album. And I recently just got 'The Gates Of Oblivian' and at first I thought it was nowhere near as good as THOTOD, but after a few listens I've come to realize it's just as good!!
I hear people say they are just a Rhapsody(Whom I enjoy as well) clone, at first I didnt see it at all, and wondered where people got it from... but on 'The Gates Of Oblivian' there are some choir elements that made me see the Rhapsody comparision, but it's only on a couple tracks!!
I dont have their debut album 'Shadowland' or their EP 'The Fall of Melnibone', but I'll get them someday!!
Anyone else share my opinions on this great band?!?

Well, I have THOTOD.

It's pretty good, I wouldn't say masterpiece as the album seems to get repetitive partway through. I love the way it ends with the piano though. Great stuff.

I'd give it a 8/10. Killer stuff, but they don't vary it up enough to be a masterpiece CD.

I am!!! I love The Gates Of Oblivion, and the Hall of the Olden Dreams is great as well. Personally, I prefer The Gates of Oblivion to any album Rhapsody has released since Symphony of Enchanted Lands. Shadowland is not very good though.
I would be awesome if Dark Moor could make it to a ProgPower festival in the future. Thye would make a great second or third band of a night.

I've only got one Rhapsody album 'Power Of The Dragonflame' and while I think it's great.. Dark Moor's albums just impressed me that much more. And about Shadowland, I've only heard one track, and while I thought it was good, it was nothing compared to the stuff on the later albums, bad quality as well(although that could just be the mp3). Demons & Wizards and Dark Moor toured together, I would've love to have seen that
