Depends how early Blind Guardian.

Also, are those full songs? Before I walk over to my other computer to download them, I need to know. Don't want samples. [/lazy]

Folllow The Blind and Battalions of Fear early BG. Yes, they are full songs.

Since the standard wholesale price of CDs is $6 and it's about $1 to ship it, that means they are making $1 per CD. That's not a sustainable profit margin.

I doubt if he's buying anything at wholesale. Based on the store selection, and the fact that DS are also a label, I'll bet most those CDs came way of trades.

Blah, those albums are mediocre.

I'll check these out despite your non-salesworthy description ;)

Mediocre?! Oh, jesus. We just don't see eye-to-eye when it comes to traditional metal at all. You like the gay stuff and I like the raw stuff.

That's not true at all!

I love traditional metal, it just has to be a) original, b) well-played, and c) not obscure just for the sake of being obscure (which you love, whether you admit it or not).

Ask ANY Blind Guardian fan (besides IotS) which albums they prefer: the first 2 mediocre ones, or the classics that began with Somewhere Far Beyond.

I disagree totally....with the entire post. Hence, why I said we don;t see eye-to-eye on the traditional metal topic. :)

Yes, everything they get there comes from trades. I don't remember why but I was asking them about something and they mentioned that.

Hey Doomcifer & Erik, have either of you guys heard any SAVAGE CIRCUS? It's music written by BG's drummer, but then they kicked him out of BG because he wanted the music to go back to the old style.....blah blah blah....next thing you know, you've got SC -- a new band made up of BG's drummer and some PERSUADER dudes playing BG songs with balls.

(Just ignore their album artwork).
